The World Health Organization (WHO) is building a “trust network” vaccine passport for international travel. The Vaccination Credential Initiative (VCI) is behind SMART Health Cards that are vaccine passports that have already been implemented by 25 US states. VCI was created by the MITRE Corporation, which is funded by the United States government.
