  • The New "Normal"

    The astute have long been warning that we are heading into a future marred by a "social credit" system. The details are unknown to most Americans, but they are there, nonetheless, and the COVID "pandemic" has intentionally thrust us headlong into this system. How, you ask? Read on. In his August 2021 article, entitled "American Federation of Teachers Sells Out to Rockefellers, Trilateralists, and Big Tech," investigative journalist John Klyczek lays out in great detail how the government-run public education system works hand-in-hand with Big Tech, psychologists, and corporations, to manipulate, track, and data-mine American children. He asks, “Why would the American Federation of Teachers go against “following the science” by lobbying the CDC to backpedal its relaxation of school health and safety protocols? Why would the AFT defy CDC experts by opposing school re-openings in favor of extending COVID restrictions that prop open the floodgates for the ed-tech industry to advance its privatization of public education through “remote” e-learning contracts? Why do this when mainstream medical journals, such as the Lancet, have published data which finds that “[c]hildren and young people remain at low risk of COVID-19 mortality”? What is the point when there is mounting evidence that in-person schoolhouse learning does not result in rising community transmission rates of COVID-19? [1]” From the outside, these questions are puzzling. Shouldn't one of the nation's largest teacher's unions be advocating for a return to schools? As is often the case, those positioning themselves as "advocates" are… not. Klyzcek continues: “To be sure, the AFT states that health and safety priorities are their motivating factors for doubling down on COVID mitigation policies, which effectively necessitate remote online schooling. Nevertheless, a close look at the history of the AFT reveals that it has a long track record of selling out its dues-paying teachers to the global ed-tech industrial complex by cutting side deals with Big Tech companies, such as IBM and Microsoft; corporate philanthropies, including the Rockefeller Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; and world governance institutions, like the Trilateral Commission and the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). In light of these past dealings with corporatists, globalists, and technocrats, it appears that the AFT may have ulterior motives to stall the full return to in-person learning in order to wedge schools into contracting with the union’s ed-tech cronies, such as IBM and Microsoft, which are driving “Reimagine Education” campaigns along with UNESCO to spur the World Economic Forum’s “Great Reset” for the “Fourth Industrial Revolution.” By pressing the CDC to drag out COVID constraints that relegate education systems to “distance” and “hybrid,” or “blended,” combinations of virtual-online instruction, the AFT has essentially been lobbying to hitch schools to multinational ed-tech cartels which aim to data-mine students’ psychometrics for workforce “competence” in the global “Social Credit” economy of the “surveillance capitalist” Fourth Industrial Revolution.” In other words, this large and powerful organization – in concert with the other major teacher's union, the National Education Association (NEA) [2] – has for decades been setting the stage for globalists to control education through technological means, with the actual end-goal being a sort of "social credit" system. With 2020 behind us, and the fake coronavirus pandemic, we have already seen the power of social manipulation. The forthcoming "vaccine passports" are, in fact, the emerging head of this "social credit" system, a means to control the actions of mankind by mandating compliance – or be removed from society. No vax, no job! [3] No vax, no movies! [4] No vax, no food! [5] No government benefits without the vax! [6] Be a good citizen! [7] Follow your leaders! [8] Follow your rock stars! [9] Follow your movie stars! [10] We'll give you extra privileges! [11] If you don't, we'll make life hard [12], take away your freedoms [13], limit your internet access [14], and/or incarcerate you [15]. This is what a "social credit" system looks like. If you want to do anything, you'd better get in compliance! But is this really a "social credit" system"?  They're not keeping score, like the Chinese, right? Let's take a look. At the 2019 Brazilian Symposium of Games, professors Livia Topper Press and Alessandro Vieira Dos Reis presented "Sesame Credit and the Social Compliance Gamification in China," in which they state the following: “Sesame Credit is the most important gamified Chinese social credit model. It aims at monitoring and regulating the behavior of more than a billion citizens… Basing itself on the distribution of rewards and punishments to individuals, upon scoring based on the compliance of the aforementioned citizens towards laws and government interests. [20]” Drew Donnelly, PhD, had the following to say in his own article on Sesame Credit: “The consequences of a poor social credit score could be serious. It may affect travel prospects, employment, access to finance, and the ability to enter into contracts. On the other hand, a positive credit score could make a range of business transactions for individuals and corporations much easier. [21]” Dr. Donnelly also points out that there is also an "implementation of the system for corporations, known as the ‘corporate social credit rating’," to make the control grid complete. Website The Artifice, in their article, also point out that: “…Alibaba [the government-run Chinese equivalent of Amazon] used the data that they and their partners had collected in order to establish a credit score for these people and small businesses. Alibaba collected information on the spending habits of over 300 million people and over 37 million small businesses to accurately assess the credit scores that people should have. In this vein, Sesame Credit is very similar to any other credit services around the world, however there was one major difference. Sesame Credit doesn’t only take in credit information and spending habits, but also online behavioural patterns, personal characteristics (how long they have lived in a specific residence or their mobile phone information) and their personal relationships. It monitored who small companies were associated with and who people were friends with online through places like Tencent related social websites. With this information the scores of peoples’ Sesame Credit were affected by who they chose to interact with. [22]” The first comment by a reader on that 2016 article started out by saying, "You know, in a way, this Sesame Credit scoring system reminds me of the American educational system I grew up with." And that is our point. This has actually been going in America for many, many decades. Former educator Beverly Eakman used to speak and write about this, providing a lot of factual information to prove that it was/is happening. In July, 2008, she gave a presentation to the 9th Annual Freedom 21 Conference, in Dallas, Texas. [17] She discussed the increasing use of "psychographics" and other data-gathering employed by educational institutions, and pointed to a research paper that used "a list of liberal versus conservative books purchased through Amazon." “The question is troubling because The National Longitudinal Study from the National Center for Education Statistics, which is part of the Department of Education lasted from 1988-2000. The parental information from Amazon, matched against children’s current opinions on school surveys, can be powerful determinants of future political behavior, and technology is now to the point where I [sic] such information can follow kids from pre-school through college, on into the workplace…” She highlights how "testing" in public schools is actually psychological "profiling." But we ask again, to what end? “Today, hundreds of seemingly unrelated pieces of data that reveal political leanings and parental views are fed into a “predictive” computer algorithm… Once computerization became truly practical, marketing agencies started hiring statisticians with concurrent degrees in psychology. Marketing moguls have long known that the best predictor of what consumers might buy tomorrow was whatever they bought yesterday—your “purchase history.” In the late 1970s, political experts realized that the same could be said for what a person believes… All this brings up covert, pre-assigned ID coding, which government agencies swear doesn’t exist. So brace yourselves; this is where it starts getting really ugly, beginning with this website:  • STUDENT UNIQUE INDENTIFIER (NDE Uniq ID) Steps to assigning Student Unique ID’s www.nde.ne.us.nssrs, updated January 2, 2008  Now, I picked a state at random, Nebraska, but it could have been just about any state—which means, this is a national initiative, with the state serving as the “fall guy.” The state education agency (that’s the state arm of the U.S. Dept. of Education) establishes the procedures and pretends to write its “own” training manuals for how to assign a unique identifying number to every student. All such “procedures” are written with a word or phrase changed here and there, or in a different order, and legislators and the press fall for it. In fact, all state procedures are virtually identical. Once the kid’s state- supplied ID number is in the bag, so to speak (in this case the Nebraska Department of Education’s “Uniqu-ID”), the state can transmit to the feds, or anywhere else, for that matter. The interesting thing about this is the Unique Student Number, assigned by the state, and the Social Security number, assigned by the feds, are going to be cross-matched—in ways that will make your jaw drop. ” She was able to access files that were later restricted, on the website she provided, and saved and printed many of them. What she discovered is that they track things like a student's religion (which is supposed to be off-limits), and that student are "micro-targeted" using different versions of assessment forms. “If you get a chance go to the Handbook of the National Center for Education Statistics at www.nces.ed.gov/programs/handbook.com. You will find proof of the predictive algorithms I discussed earlier, the formulas that will forecast your kids’ probable political behaviors based on the responses he or she provides on assessments and surveys… It doesn’t stop there. There is an incredibly detailed level of invasiveness, all automated, or required: every aspect of a child’s teeth and dental work, pre-natal observations of the mother, such as weight gain during pregnancy, gestational age of child at birth, and birth weight.  In other words, Ladies, while you were at the hospital in labor, your government was laboring to circumvent the privacy laws. This tells you how much that HIPAA privacy “agreement” you have to sign every time you walk into a new doctor’s office or pick up a prescription at the pharmacy is worth. Can we say zero? I also found a copyright-protected, restricted-use longitudinal data file. This was evidence of surreptitious data-gathering via an “electronic codebook,” going back to birth and pre-school. The focus was social skills, rated by psychologists using a Social Rating Scale.” A what? Yes, a "Social Rating Scale." A "social credit" system, but a secret one that has been used against us, covertly, all our lives. [16] “The marriage of computerized data-collection and educational indoctrination continues to evolve, fulfilling the objectives of early leftists like Paul Popenoe, editor of old American Eugenics Society journal—and yes, that means just what you think it means—who wrote that “the educational system should be a sieve, through which all children are passed. It is very desirable,” he said, “that no child escape inspection.” The dots go back to education, folks. Young people have no idea how we got re-routed from the Founders’ original ideals. Most parents themselves couldn’t tell their kids how we got here—via movers and shakers like [list of names]. Hardly any school—public or private—covers these influential moguls. Yet, every one rejected traditional notions about right and wrong. Every one indicated that religious convictions are a sign of mental illness. Every one urged inspection of children and parents for signs of dogmatism, inflexibility and paranoia.” So, today we find ourselves falling into a trap of social coercion, where we must comply with ridiculous "vaccine" mandates or lose access to civilization. The fact is, however, they already knew which of us would resist because they have been tracking our beliefs, philosophies, and actions, all our lives, and storing it in the NSA's data centers, along with all of our communications. [18] It makes sense now why the US Post Office was recently deputized as watchers of our social media (publicly, at least; they've actually been monitoring us for decades). [23] “Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. In each of these cities, The Intercept has identified an AT&T facility containing networking equipment that transports large quantities of internet traffic across the United States and the world. A body of evidence – including classified NSA documents, public records, and interviews with several former AT&T employees – indicates that the buildings are central to an NSA spying initiative that has for years monitored billions of emails, phone calls, and online chats passing across U.S. territory.” Of course, that's without mentioning the roles of Google and Facebook, et al. [19] So, welcome to the "new normal." It's been a long time coming. And you’ll be tied into this [social] credit system you built. ~ Li-Meng Yan Vaccine Passports Will Usher in a Social Credit System Of course, the COVID shots and the vaccine passports also fit into the CCP agenda by making the whole world accept and adopt the CCP’s social control system. The vaccine passports are clearly designed to usher in a social credit system like they have in China. The push to allow the government to force every American to obtain a unique patient identifier is being justified as a means to efficiently monitor Americans’ “contact and immunization” status. [26]” “Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has warned that the Covid restrictions being imposed worldwide are an attempt by the New World Order to destroy democracy as we know it. [27]” [UPDATE 2021-12-01] “A new Digital Drivers License is currently in the works in Utah and other states. The program lists items that can be tracked or added later, and includes vaccine records, financial reports credit scores, travel records, taxes, spending, voting, sex offeder [sic] status, dietary preferences, licenses and permits, background checks, rewards programs and social credit scoring. This is the Chinese model for totalitarianism. [28]” “Melissa Ciummei, a financial investor from Northern Ireland, explained that vaccine passports, also called health passes, serve no purpose in promoting health, but are instead a tool for control. She warned that children are targeted for the purpose of indoctrination for the future. A digital ID is necessary to bring in central bank digital currency (CBDC) for totalitarian control, and vaccine passports are necessary to bring in digital ID.     This weekend, Sen. Regina Bayer shared some information on bills that were passed by the Senate last week. Most of these show great cause for alarm! Not only because they were passed in a state that claims to be majority "Conservatives" and "Republicans," but because they need to be opposed! Please inform yourselves on these bills, and then reach out to everyone in the House, asking them to oppose these bills! The text following the bill numbers is Senator Bayer's, immediately followed by our commentary. We have included links to pages where you can read the proposed text of the bills, and see who supported them. “S1006: This legislation would consolidate current statutory requirements for literacy intervention and update provisions in alignment with the Task Force recommendation for focusing on the importance of having every student reading at grade level by the end of grade 3. The bill passed the Senate with a vote of 35-0-0 and was referred to the House Education Committee. ” This is a "bleeding heart" law that sounds good on its face, but lays the groundwork for future failure. No two children are alike, and we all have different strengths and weaknesses. We learn at different times and paces. As we saw with "No Child Left Behind," what bills like this is do to force schools to lower educational standards once it becomes obvious that some children will not meet existing standards, because their federal funding will be on the line. “S1027: This legislation would compensate individuals who were wrongfully convicted and imprisoned with $62,000 per year of incarceration or $75,000 per year if incarcerated on death row. Those who were put on the sex offender registry wrongfully would receive an additional $25,000 per year on the registry. Exonerees would be given a two-year window to file a claim from the moment they were formally exonerated by a court. The bill passed the Senate with a vote of 35-0-0 and was referred to the House. ” It is horrific to think of wrongful convictions, and the havoc it wreaks on a person's livelihood. Their future employment may be affected because they have a conviction on their record, they've lost the ability to be with their families, they have been socially ostracized (particularly in the case of a wrongful sex offender conviction), and so forth. They definitely deserve assistance to help get their lives back on track. Our issue here is that the general citizen of Idaho will pay those bills, when they were not responsible for the wrongful convictions. Remember, there is no such thing as "the state." It is all you. The proper solution, then, is to gather funds charitably, ie, from those who willingly choose and are able to do so. We do believe, however, that there should be punishment considered for those who wrongfully accused them. "Thou shalt not bear false witness." “S1039: This bill would allow school districts to award a Workplace Readiness Diploma to graduates who have completed career technical education programs. The bill passed out of the Senate Education Committee with a Do Pass Recommendation and is filed for its Third Reading."” Of the bills presented here, this one is the cause for greatest concern, as it advances the tenth plank of the Communist Manifesto! Be aware that this bill only supports an existing program that itself advances this agenda, which is that education be used to prepare children for specific future needs of industries. In effect, this means the education your children receive in public school is crafted to meet specific future needs of businesses, instead of teaching them to think for themselves. This is already in effect across the nation, with so-called "School to Work" initiatives, and can be seen in its ultimate form in totalitarian states like China and North Korea, where children have no choice in their future vocations, and receive only the education that will prepare them for their state-appointed employment.   • UN Goals Unveiled: Climate Change–Cities and Communities in Action

    Today we will analyze the upcoming UN Conference's "Thematic Session," entitled "Climate Change–Cities and Communities in Action". While this topic can raise some "heated" debate, if you'll pardon the expression, it is apparent that this issue is more emotional than factual, like most UN-driven issues. Let's examine the official description of this session and then analyze its contents. “"As outlined in Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and other reports elaborated over the years by the scientific community, as well as public and private sector entities, climate change with its associated risks is among the defining issues of our time, the impact of which is global in scope and unprecedented in scale and is already disrupting communities and livelihoods, especially of those living in poverty. However, there is a growing recognition that affordable, scalable solutions are currently available that will enable us all to leapfrog to more green, clean, resilient economies in the long run.  Cities and communities, underpinned by strong advocacy from civil society are acting on reducing emissions and on development for resiliency, with innovative strategies for carbon neutrality and resilient infrastructure; transportation and energy systems decarbonisation, zero emissions buildings; innovative financing mechanisms and behaviour change among consumers, producers and policymakers. With the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit 2019 taking place in September 2019, this session will be an opportunity to boost ambition and accelerate action to implement the Paris Agreement, with a focus on local action and the role of youth."” We begin with the frightening tale of how "the impact of [climate change] is global in scope and unprecedented in scale and is already disrupting communities and livelihoods". Oh, the terror! Of course, since it is "global" in scale, the only solution is global governance. A historical fact that is not taught in government indoctrination centers (ie, public schools) is that the United Nations started out as the League of Nations, which presented itself as the solution to worldwide wars immediately after World War I, which it was responsible for creating. (Remember the Hegelian Dialectic? "Problem-Reaction-Solution" You cause the problem and then offer yourself as the solution.) They believed that if they caused a situation horrific enough, people would clamor to give up their freedom in order for the League of Nations to save them. After all, we can't have a "world war" anymore if there is a "world government," can we? When this plan failed, they started World War II and presented themselves again as the solution, now rebranded as the United Nations. While they haven't ever "officially" been declared the world's government, they do, in fact, act like it, and even the United States government bows to their authority. What's important to comprehend, however, is their primary methodology: scare tactics, whether real or imagined. For decades, they have tried one thing after another–overpopulation, a new ice age, imaginary holes in the sky, global warming, and now the ambiguous "climate change"–never actually able to get people whipped up into enough of a frenzy that they would finally give up their liberties. Until now. The opening statement also assumes the high position of carrying the authority of the IPCC and other experts and, of course, years worth of reports. You can just see them piling up all over the offices at the UN. No wonder they're in such a hurry! This, ladies and gentlemen, is a logical fallacy known as "appeal to authority." What makes this sort of argument particularly egregious is that it is most effective when used against the young, precisely where the "climate change" doctrine is preached. Those of us who hold our doubts about so-called "human-induced climate change" are old enough to think critically about the matter, and expect the facts to bear out. Children, on the other hand, are taught from birth that they should respect authority figures and, particularly in public school, never to question the "experts." (If you don't already understand that this is by design, I encourage you to stop reading this article and immediately download a free copy of "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America" by Charlot Iserbyt!) If you get nonsense into their heads early enough, they will never question it. Especially if you can get immoral "experts" to lie, fudge numbers, and otherwise manipulate data  for political purposes. Of course, it is also necessary to demonize and vilify those who disagree, even if they are NASA scientists and other actual climate scientists, so you can pretend that there is an "overwhelming consensus." Also note that there is never substantive media coverage of those scientists who oppose the agenda, even when they are among the IPCC itself: “"But two members of the committee, Peter Lilley (Conservative) and Graham Stringer (Labour), disagreed with the other nine. They accused their fellow MPs of not holding the IPCC critically to account. “As scientists by training, we do not dispute the science of the greenhouse effect – nor did any of our witnesses,” they said in a statement. “However, there remain great uncertainties about how much warming a given increase in greenhouse gases will cause, how much damage any temperature increase will cause and the best balance between adaptation to versus prevention of global warming.” The two MPs say that the underlying technical report of the IPCC acknowledges many uncertainties, but these have been omitted from the critical Summary for Policymakers, presented to politicians." – Politicizing the IPCC report, by Judith Curry.” Next in the description you will notice that we must "leapfrog to more green, clean, resilient economies." If you remember the game of leapfrog, you will recall that each player must jump over the one in front of them. That is the UN's demand, as well. There is never a request for gradual change; it is always something that must be forced on everyone immediately. This is followed by a call for "carbon neutrality," a ridiculous phrase if there ever was one. I point you to the essay, "Carbon is not the enemy", by the journal Nature, as well as Dr. Judith Curry's discussion of this and other essays on the topic. We could go into much more discussion of this brief description, but the facts should be clear already: "climate change" is unscientific nonsense that is being force-fed to our children in order to be used by the United Nations as an excuse to take control of every facet of our lives. See if you can identify the real agendas behind the buzzwords for this "thematic session": “"Join us for this Thematic Session if you care for matters such as: Low carbon pathways and per capita footprint; Transport and mobility transformation, Renewable energy, Fiscal incentives for green tech, Coastal communities, Climate-smart food production, Land use, land-change and forestry"” Among the list of speakers for this session are Jackie Biskupski, the lesbian Mayor of Salt Lake City, Selina Neirok Leem, a Youth Delegate from The Republic of the Marshall Islands, and Olumide Idowu, Co-Founder of a non-profit known as Climate Wednesday.   • The State ALWAYS Wants Your Children!

    The state of Washington recently put out a job posting, looking to hire people to supervise large groups of children while in government detention centers. Soon afterwards, Gov. Little decided to change several Idaho laws, many of which have to do with children in state custody, and parental rights. Last Friday, a governmental body in Germany warned its citizens that their children would be removed from school and put in state custody if the parents refused to sign a daily COVID-19 health report. According to LifeSiteNews: “The letter caused an uproar on social media. Many citizens felt reminded of the practice of forced adoptions during the dictatorship of former East Germany, of which Saxony was a part. Parents considered enemies of the state had their children taken into custody by the government and given up for adoption.” So, here was an even earlier case of children being taken by the state. Prior to that, Adolf Hitler "recruited" children into his "Hitler Youth" brigade, and taught the children in public school to hate religion and turn their parents in for legal violations. Couple this with ongoing legal battles against CPS (Child Protective Services) or DFCW (Dept. of Family and Child Welfare), and we must ask ourselves one question: Why do tyrannical states always go after the children?

  • You Are GUILTY

    A terrible precedent has been set in America, and it needs to die a quick death. It is the presumption of guilt. We used to be a country that believed in the foundational principle of presumptive innocence. As in "innocent until proven guilty." This important principle is at the very root of the three pillars of our Constitutional society: life, liberty, and property (also referred to as "the pursuit of happiness"). Without the presumption of innocence, these three can be taken from us for any reason. Sadly, we are now a country that practices and allows the presumption of guilt. CPS Know anyone who has had CPS (Child "Protective" Services) called on them? How did that go for them? It usually happens like this: 1. Someone calls CPS. There is no step 2. In the eyes of the state, you are now a criminal, and must prove your innocence through a series of long, drawn out, invasive interrogations, court visits, and usually the loss of your children for any period of time, up to and including permanently. Hopefully you have the time and money to endure this experience before your children are doled out to foster care, or worse. (But that doesn't really happen, right?) Why is this a problem? Do you hate children?  Not at all, but to protect innocent citizens from heinous government overreach, the burden of proof must be on the accuser. That is why, under Constitutional law, a warrant must be obtained, and it cannot be obtained on hearsay. People can be nasty to each other, and lies roll easily off the tongue. In Idaho alone, over 80% of CPS cases are fraudulent! But those > 80% go through the same experience as the < 20% who are guilty. But that's just one situation where we are presumed guilty. Let's look at some others. Homeschooling At a recent Harvard event, a professor Elizabeth Bartholet suggested that the state should assume authority over our children, and take that authority from parents. Why? Because, she asserts, we should presume parents are ignorant child abusers. It is an unbelievable statement, so feel free to read the link. Fair warning: you will come out of that article with fewer IQ points than when you went in. Once again, guilt should be presumed. The price? The ability to raise our children as we see fit. Instead, they must be indoctrinated by the state like all the other good little kiddies in public school. You know, the ones who are learning about deviant sex acts and idolizing  Communists. Black Lives Matter The very concept of "Systemic racism" presumes guilt on the part of all "White" people, and apparently justifies assaults on innocent victims, and the destruction of their personal property. Wait, that sounds familiar… Oh yeah, we said it earlier: "Without the presumption of innocence, all three [life, liberty, and property] can be taken from us for any reason." All while the police are "standing by." Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow…? Because this principle is so vital to our freedom, it is important that we apply it consistently, even in unpopular situations. In the oldest Idaho Statesman article we could find mentioning Daybell, dated Dec. 20, 2019, we learn that they were under investigation for the following reasons: • "Rexburg Police tried to conduct a welfare check on Joshua Vallow, Lori Vallow’s adopted 7-year-old special-needs son" at the request of "[r]elatives outside of Idaho". • And "the parents… repeatedly lied about the whereabouts of the children." When did it become the purview of the police to check on the whereabouts of our children? Is it any of their business? Are we required by law to tell them when asked? Is this any different than the CPS visits mentioned above? The answers, as far as we can tell, are Never, No, No, and No. Please correct us if we are mistaken. The fact that they performed the checkup visit, and then attempted to verify that the kids were with their relatives, demonstrates a presumption of guilt. The article states that the police returned with a warrant the following day, which is curious since no evidence of wrongdoing was mentioned, just the suspicions of family members. The couple themselves said the "allegations" were "speculation and rumor", which shows that there was not previous evidence. According to that article: “The couple is also connected to two active death investigations involving both of their former spouses — one in Fremont County and another in Maricopa County, Arizona. However, authorities in both jurisdictions say Chad and Lori are not persons of interest or suspects in those cases. No charges have been filed against Chad or Lori in Idaho or Arizona. So far, Rexburg Police have only indicated they want to talk with the couple to ensure the children are OK.” Suspicions and hearsay are not legal qualifications for an investigation, let alone the subsequent taxpayer expense to fly to Hawaii to apprehend Lori Vallow, dig up yards, and whatever else has been involved. Lucky for the police, their "belief" (as it is called in the Statesman article) may have turned out to be correct in this case. But what if it wasn't? Would we support this form of legal abuse if they were innocent? What if they are? We don't actually know at this point. And if they are guilty, does that excuse the presumption of guilt, and all that that entails?

  • The Name's Bond. School Bond.

    Citizens across Idaho are facing upcoming votes to address proposed bonds, most of them school bonds. We have been impressed with the amount of public discourse around these, and specifically with some who have clearly thought it through, crunched numbers, and so forth, but what we have not been impressed with, however, is the lack of discussion about principles. This is actually the only discussion that needs to be had, since a proposition that clearly violates true principles is not a proposal to be taken seriously. To begin with, we must clearly understand that voting in a bond means going into debt and paying it back through future taxation. Those are two enormous red flags right out of the gate. On the Dave Ramsey website, we read: “What’s the legal definition of debt? “Debt is a financial liability or obligation owed by one person, the debtor, to another, the creditor.”  In other words, debt is when someone borrows money (a debtor) and is responsible for paying back the person or company who loaned them that money (the creditor or lender). ” As we mentioned, in the case of bonds, the repayment comes in the form of future taxation. This is nefarious in several ways. One could easily vote in a bond and then move out of the area, thereby using the force of law to commit someone else to pay off the debt. The rising generation that becomes old enough to pay taxes also gets saddled with debt they had no say in. This is immoral. Others are also unfairly saddled with debts earmarked for public schools, including those who homeschool, or who have no children in school. For homeschooling parents, the injustice is multiplied by the fact that they are forced to help pay for a service they do not use, and that spends wastefully its ever-increasing budget, while they themselves give their children an inarguably better education at a mere fraction of the cost. "But education! We have to have schools! If we don't force everyone to pay for public schools, kids will be dumb because there is nowhere else on planet Earth where anyone could possibly get an education! Won't somebody think of the children?!?" These are the types of comments that get thrown around when you start advocating true principles. You will notice that they boil down to the following: 1.  "My way is the best and only way!" This is clearly a falsehood. In our day, there are innumerable ways to get an education. Apprenticeship is one way into a lucrative career, and requires little to no money down. Oh! Ever heard of the internet? It's this neat place where you can literally learn anything for nothing or next to nothing. Colleges and kind people offer free or inexpensive courses and materials. There are low-fee things like coding boot camps, and master courses. The real problem these people have with this approach? There is no one to force things like critical race theory and gay porn on your kindergartener. 2.  "Everyone else has to pay for what I want! Especially since it is in the "public's best interest!"" This is one of the underlying principles of Socialism, and quite clearly violates the Constitution, no matter who espouses it. (Looking at you, every president of the United States for the past 90 years…) Ezra Taft Benson himself addressed the immorality inherent in this approach in his amazing work, The Proper Role Of Government, when he said: “[N]ow we come to the moment of truth. Suppose pioneer “A” wants another horse for his wagon, He doesn’t have the money to buy one, but since pioneer “B” has an extra horse, he decides that he is entitled to share in his neighbor’s good fortune, Is he entitled to take his neighbor’s horse? Obviously not! If his neighbor wishes to give it or lend it, that is another question. But so long as pioneer “B” wishes to keep his property, pioneer “A” has no just claim to it. If “A” has no proper power to take “B’s” property, can he delegate any such power to the sheriff? No. Even if everyone in the community desires that “B” give his extra horse to “A”, they have no right individually or collectively to force him to do it. They cannot delegate a power they themselves do not have. This important principle was clearly understood and explained by John Locke nearly 300 years ago: ““For nobody can transfer to another more power than he has in himself, and nobody has an absolute arbitrary power over himself, or over any other, to destroy his own life, or take away the life or property of another.”””   This leads us to the correct approach to anything one might feel inclined to make everyone else pay for: "If his neighbor wishes to give it or lend it, that is another question." In other words, when you want a new school building, you start collecting funds from those who want it, and are willing and able to pitch in. When you have enough money, you pay for it! That's it! On the website for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we read: “Since the early days of the Church, the Lord’s prophets have repeatedly warned against the bondage of debt… Discipline yourself in your purchases, avoiding debt to the extent you can. In most cases, you can avoid debt by managing your resources wisely.” Can we not, as the Church itself exemplifies, save up the money and spend it when we have it? Would that not be wisdom? Last year, Defending Idaho published a resource page on Education that pointed out the following: “Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have no excuse when it comes to public education. They were warned and forewarned by their leaders for decades to send their children to faithful teachers, and not people of the world, and that they should pay for their children's tuitions themselves. Why? They gave six reasons:[1] 1. Taxes were not necessary… Brigham Young said to a group of parents, “Do not say you cannot school them, for you can. There is not a family in this community but we will take and school their children if they are not able to do it themselves.” 2. Taxing took away the opportunity of freely giving and, consequently, its attendant blessings. 3. Taxes create both waste and abuse. 4. Those disbursing taxes often assume undue authority to enforce compliance to additional or unrelated regulations. 5. Taxes foster indolence and recipients of public tax money frequently demonstrate dependency upon the state. 6. Parents and local community members have greater interest in their children and in their educational situation than does the government. Somewhat intertwined with the fourth principle, it is known that the closer parents are to the education of their children, the more viable and important it becomes.” Think of the wisdom in each of these statements. #6 alone would have kept trash like critical race theory out of our schools from the beginning! Now, go forth and vote, applying true principles at every turn, and you will find yourself freer by the year!     We live in a culture that is constantly told that they should just trust the "experts." In some parts of Idaho, this is adhered to very strongly. There are actually a great many things wrong with this attitude, particularly when it comes to medicine [1], but still it is pervasive in some parts. We want to believe that doctors never make business decisions when it comes to our health, but this is naive. We want to think that those in the medical profession are just kind, friend people who want to heal people. Granted, there are some who feel this way, but there are a great many doctors, and they run the spectrum where these things are concerned. Medical school isn't free, after all, nor are vacations. Even where good doctors are concerned, however, there are problems. One of these is, interestingly, the same problem that the public tends to have: a belief that those above them know what is right and shouldn't be questioned. In our current situation, there is a chain of information/direction that looks like this: The United Nations directs the World Health Organization, which directs the CDC, which directs state health departments, which direct regional health departments, which direct local health officials, who are responsible for implementation. If you trust the UN, this might not bother you. But if you understand that there are serious reasons to take what they say with skepticism, this chain is very disconcerting. Take, for instance, Event 201 [3]. This was an event, held in October of 2019, where leaders and representatives from around the world got together to war-game what would happen if there were a global outbreak of a new coronavirus. Months before there actually was a new global coronavirus outbreak, or so we're told. What an amazing coincidence! Yet another coincidence is that this "pandemic" has presented exactly the opportunity long ought after by groups like the World Economic Forum to implement what they refer to as "The Great Reset", which they see as an "opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world," according to Klaus Schwab, the WEF's founder. This is why you keep hearing about the "new normal." They have no intention of letting things go back to the real normal. “"By Schwab’s own admission, the world must “act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies” — in short, he says, ever [sic] industry must “be transformed… we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.”" [2]” “"As the WEF puts it of the coming technocracy that would rule our lives: “Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better.”" [2]” All of these things tie directly back to the United Nations Agenda 21/2030. Defending Idaho has reported on the goals of Agenda 21/2030, and we refer you to our website for those. In short, these are all evil goals couched in nice-sounding phraseology. We must all stop blindly following and start thinking critically! "Experts" are people, and people have agendas. "There is no class of evidence to be received with greater suspicion than that of the so-called expert." [4] I'm No Expert At this point, some might be wondering who they are to question those who claim to be experts. I will tell you who you are: you are the one who will suffer the consequences of whatever they implement! You have your own brain, and you were meant to use it. And you have access to the greatest expert of all – God – who will gladly guide you as you navigate conflicting information. Most importantly, you must listen to all sides of an argument. Contrary to popular memes, science is NEVER settled! Science is, literally, "a study of a subject," and it is ever-evolving. We look back with horror on the practices of days gone by (Opium for headaches? Cigarettes for your lungs?), but somehow fail to realize that those people were following the recommendation of their doctors and experts, too. In a hundred years, what will society think of today's best practices, if there still is a society? What will the "science" say then? I have been known to say that "science is today's best guesses waiting to be proven false." Whether you like it or not, this is historically accurate. But we like to think of ourselves as above all that. OUR science is too good for all that. We have "evolved" to a safe place, where things like peer reviews and double-blind studies protect us from fraud and quackery. I wish that were true. Researcher James Corbett has produced an excellent, well-documented, documentary, entitled "The Crisis of Science," that exposes the flaws – serious, serious flaws! – in today's methodologies, as discussed among scientists themselves, in their own literature, conveniently removed from the public eye. I highly recommend you watch it. [5] Just Listen We are being told that we shouldn't listen to the "other guys," that they're the cause of all our problems. We are being led to divide into factions, constantly at odds with one another. This is wrong, and it is patently un-American. Just as we have been seeing people and groups purged from sites and services like YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, so have these enormous organizations been controlling the free flow of information in other ways. Google, for instance, has long buried certain topics so far down into search results that no one will ever find them. Whistleblowers whose messages conflict with the prevailing narrative are quickly removed from public platforms before they can be seen. Truly, we live in Orwell's 1984, where this was known as "memory-holing." Media giant CNN admitted that some of these whistleblowers had been scrubbed from the main social media sites, but was quick to label them spreaders of "false coronavirus claims," so you wouldn't be concerned. [6] You weren't supposed to ask yourself why doctors would risk their livelihoods, not to mention their medical licenses, to spread "false claims." Or. what about The Great Barrington Declaration? [7] Have you even heard of it? You should have! But it's been either ignored or slandered by mainstream media publications, so you won't pay any attention to it. Why on earth would the public want to hear from "infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists [who] have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies"? What DO we get? Shut out of public meetings, where hospital administrators are admitted and allowed to give an air of legitimacy to mask mandates that we are being railroaded with. Are you not alarmed by that? I could go on, as there are many, many, other doctors and experts who disagree with the prevailing narrative. But I won't. I just hope that this has given you a sense of the urgency in our current situation, and that, going forward, you will not just blindly accept what any so-called "experts" say in regards to this "pandemic." There is a lot of reason to be skeptical, if not at least very cautious.   • How The Conspiracy Works: The Letter Of The Law

    Some recent articles by the Idaho Freedom Foundation have really provoked the ire of some in Boise by questioning socialist policies and practices at BSU. We urge you to visit their site, as there are several articles touching this subject. We agree with the IFF on these issues, and welcome the opportunity to point out one of the ways the conspiracy works, as made clear in the Idaho Press response, "More on 'Dreamers' and scholarships…", which includes a handy outline of the process. In short, if they can technically justify something, that makes it okay. I recommend reading the Idaho Press article to see the legal wrangling for yourself. This is where the intersection of lawyers and judges begins to bring us the corruption described in Alma 10, in the Book of Mormon. One of the primary issues in this discussion is that "illegal alien students (DACA students)" are receiving "Idaho resident tuition rates and Opportunity Scholarship dollars." As pointed out in the Idaho Press article, “Under federal law, DACA students are considered ‘lawfully present’ in Idaho." That is the letter of the law. The spirit of the law, however, is that publicly funded education belongs to those who have paid for it. It just makes sense. Don't get me wrong. I am not a supporter of public education in any way. We homeschool our children, and thank God every day for inspiring us to do so, back before "condom races" were a thing. But, that's middle school. This is college, which gets much worse. But I digress. Principles are what matter. Period. These scholarships were put in place under the principle that they would be made available to qualified residents who helped fund it, or whose families helped fund it, with their tax dollars. Now, we get school administrators shoveling our dollars out the door in the name of "social justice," trying to right phantasmic wrongs that our country's leftists imagine up. Do yourself a favor, Idaho. Take a stand. Demand that BSU–and every other educational institution in your state–cut the crap. Read the articles at IFF, and you will have a much better idea of what is going on, and what needs to be ended. "Social justice" is not education.

  • UN Goals Unveiled: Building Inclusive Communities Through Education

    The United Nations will be holding a conference in Utah at the end of this month, with a variety of what they call "Thematic Sessions" to be held. These are meetings designed to promote the UN's goals, each one focused around a specific theme, but also intertwined with other UN goals, as you will see. There is also a strong focus on youth for this conference, and the reason for that will also become apparent. The first we will be addressing is entitled, "Building Inclusive Communities Through Education." Here is the official description, taken from their website: “"The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) call for ensuring equal access for all women and men to affordable and quality technical, vocational and tertiary education, including university.  Rapid technological changes present opportunities and challenges, but the learning environment, the capacities of teachers and the quality of education have in many parts of the world not kept pace, and in others still need to catch up. New models in higher education are emerging as lawmakers and higher education professionals look for ways to address declining enrollment numbers, lack of diversity and skyrocketing tuition, as well as knowledge gaps in today’s rapidly evolving global workforce. Access for all to a quality education and learning opportunities – starting with children - will play a central role in increasing the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship to meet today’s global and local challenges."” The UN's language is always loaded with meaning and hidden context that is intended to go over the head of the casual listener or reader. One of the most basic underlying principles we see in language from the United Nations is the promotion of Socialism, which is present here in the very first sentence. Notice the keywords "equal access" and "all men and women." These are fun buzzwords right now that appeal to the desire to be "fair" and promote "equality." But how would this be possible without forcing those who "have" to pay for those who "have not"? Who gets to define those terms? How would it be enforced? As the UN has focused its goals on the entire world, only a world government could provide the necessary enforcement. How do we know that world collectivism is the goal of the UN? For starters, most of the countries in the UN have some form of Socialist government, which shows that this is the mindset they hold. They would not want for the world anything different than what they already provide for their own people. The UN also already has in place several schemes to redistribute the wealth of the world from so-called "wealthy" nations to those with less. The redistribution of wealth is a hallmark of Socialism, the goal being that all people are equal in poverty, with the government in control of the wealth and resources. Think Venezuela, China, North Korea, the Soviet Union, Cuba. Sound fun? In contrast, the equality of all mankind declared under the Constitution is that each one is born with a clean slate, able to make of his life what he will. Not an equality of things, but an equality of promise to be shaped by a person's choices. Are some nations more prosperous than others? Absolutely, and the current modus operandi is to try to make other nations feel guilty for their own successes, as if it were their fault somehow. Yet, those circumstances, in most cases, came about as a natural result of the choices of the people. No one holds responsibility for their choices but themselves. Of course, we can voluntarily provide assistance, as many do. There are doctors and dentists who provide free services. There are people inventing new ways to drill wells, grow crops more effectively, etc. Missionaries teaching English, and helping in myriad other ways. All of these people working of their own accord, providing helpful service by choice, with no threat of government violence required. A few of the UN's other overarching themes are also present here. We see the assertion that "declining enrollment numbers" at "higher education" institutions (ie, colleges) is somehow a threat that must be addressed. What are these people doing instead? Staying home and watching TV? Perhaps a few, but the rest are learning trades, writing books, getting degrees in Computer Science or programming, teaching dance, making neon signs, and a whole host of other things that can be done elsewhere. College is not the only option. We must also ask ourselves why people would be opting to avoid college. Could it be that there are so many other options that don't require one to start adult life tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt? Could it be that colleges have turned into horrendous indoctrination centers where students can get degrees in things like porn? Where Conservatism and religion are no longer welcome? Where free speech is proclaimed, and simultaneously denied? Could it be that the best students no longer are able to even get into many colleges due to ridiculous "diversity" policies that favor non-academic qualities, such as skin color or sexuality? On that note, you will notice that "lack of diversity" is thrown in there with all these other "atrocities," as though it is something of importance. This is done for several reasons. One is that the UN is anti-Christian. The deliberate promotion of diversity of sexuality, and the promotion of non-Christian religions, while at the same time declaring war on monogamy and Christianity, sends a clear signal. We must remember, however, that when all things are "true," nothing is true. And that is the point. Championing diversity also creates victims out of those in smaller groups, who clamor to government for "protection," and the government is all too happy to take away everyone's rights and freedoms in order to do so. This is at the core of the UN's "inclusive communities." Remember when you were free to choose who you associated with? Now, you'd better bake the cake, rent your house, and install a ramp of a certain length, size, color, and slope, or the government will step on your neck, steal your property, or imprison you, all in the name of diversity. There are UN goals to usurp your freedoms in the name of every so-called "marginalized" group that exists. The drive-by phrase "knowledge gaps in today’s rapidly evolving global workforce" suggests that there is a group of overseers looking to take your children and plug them into a prefabricated system, like so many cogs. Some places here in the United States, like California, have already embraced this system, and have implemented government-business partnerships that craft a child's education to meet the specific projected needs of their workforce. Is this what people send their children to school for? If they called each graduating class by its intended purpose, would they feel any different? "We'd like to congratulate the Boeing assembly line class of 2019!" This is the UN's goal for your children. The importance of public education in Socialist systems cannot be denied. It is even a plank of the Communist Manifesto. When the government chooses which kids learn, what they learn, and how they learn, what else is left? Can it be said that a free thought ever crossed a child's mind in such a system? This system not only tells kids how to think, it tells them what to think. "We've always been at war with Eastasia." Haven't we? Hardcore Socialists have always sought to remove all threats to the state, any who might challenge their authority, and this has historically pinpointed religion and the family as the foremost threats. The UN call for "a quality education and learning opportunities – starting with children" nicely frames their desire to remove children from their homes and put them into government schools where they can be indoctrinated. The push is to get kids out of the home as early as possible. This is already happening here in America, with preschools and even pre-preschools opening all over. The UN also has an ongoing agenda to set children up as adversaries against their parents and other adults, by telling them that it is unfair for adults to run things, for adults to get all the jobs, for only adults to vote. Why is this a priority for the UN? Remember when, during the 60's, the mantra of the Communists was "Don't trust anyone over 30"? Youth are ignorant and impressionable. Not ignorant as in stupid, but as in miseducated and inexperienced. They can be emotionally manipulated easily. They are, in actual Communist terminology, "useful idiots" who will work hard to bring about their own downfall, all the while thinking they are doing the world a service. A young man I know, just out of high school, actually posted on Facebook not long ago that "[he] would die for Agenda 21!" Mission accomplished. As you read the subject matter tags the UN was so good to include with this description, see if you can pair the phrases with their descriptions above: “"Join this session if you are interested in: the role of universities, communities and vocational institutes; continuing education; children in urban settings; access for marginalized students and communities; opportunities for youth; education in vulnerable settings; gender; technology for education."” We don't have the time or space to touch on everything in this short blurb, but we hope this was enough to get you thinking. Everything about the UN, from its agendas to its existence, is anti-American and unConstitutional! Instead of turning our children over to unaccountable globalists, why don't we teach them what is in the Constitution… and then go back to following it!

Persons who are obtaining a service involving the nose, face, or head for which temporary removal of the face covering is necessary to perform the service. Persons who are eating or drinking at a restaurant or other establishment that offers food or beverage service, so long as the person is able to maintain a distance of 6 feet away from persons who are not members of the same household or party as the person. vi. Outdoor public places where people can employ social distancing as recommended by CDC. vii. Indoor recreational facilities (i.e., gyms and fitness facilities) where people can employ social distancing as recommended by the CDC. The Eastern Idaho Public Health order says the following: "Facial coverings are not required to be worn under the following circumstances: • Children under the age of 2. • Persons with medical conditions, mental health condition, or disability that prevent them from wearing a face covering. A person is not required to provide documentation demonstrating that the person cannot tolerate wearing a face covering. • Persons who are deaf or hard of hearing, or communicating with a person who is deaf or hard of hearing, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication. • Persons, including on-duty law enforcement officers, for whom wearing a face covering would create a risk to the person related to their work, as determined by local, state, or federal regulators or workplace safety guidelines. • Persons who are obtaining a service involving the nose, face, or head for which temporary removal of the face covering is necessary to perform the service. • Persons who are eating or drinking at a restaurant or other establishment that offers food or beverage service, so long as they are seated at a table and able to maintain a distance of 6 feet from persons who are not members of the same household or party as the person.
