Defending Idaho is made up of Idaho citizens who are dedicated to the original intent of the Constitution. We seek to expose corruption, overturn bad laws, and fight the encroachment of globalism on our state. Our primary focuses are to teach the people correct principles, and to expose those who conspire to take away our freedom.
Does this sound like you? Then join us today, and help us take a stand for liberty!
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a political action committee as "a group formed (as by an industry or an issue-oriented organization) to raise and contribute money to the campaigns of candidates likely to advance the group's interests".
Defending Idaho, in contrast, is a grassroots organization, without affiliation save to Defending Utah, which is itself a grassroots organization made up of Utah citizens who share our goals and focus. We have no ties to any industry, nor to a specific issue. We never endorse candidates, but may highlight when their actions align with true principles or violate them. We encourage our volunteer members to make wise judgments on all candidates based on correct principles.
Nope.
Defending Idaho is a non-partisan organization. We recognize that:
It's no secret that there are a lot of Latter-day Saints in Idaho, and the founding members of Defending Idaho are some of them. Our mission is based on the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the fact that its members have a specific duty to truth, freedom, and the Constitution, as laid out in the scriptures.
Ultimately, though Defending Idaho welcomes liberty-loving Idaho citizens of all religious or non-religious walks of life. If you share our desire for limited government, trustworthy public officials, and adherence to the Constitution, we want you on our team!
